Pluckr is a Chrome extension that finds the images in a Google Doc you have open, then compresses and converts them to AVIF or WebP. All processing — decoding, resizing, and encoding — happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly. The resulting files are saved to your computer when you choose to download them.
documents.readonly scope. It
uses this solely to read the document you are viewing and retrieve its
images at full resolution. Pluckr never edits, creates, deletes, or shares
your documents.
Accessed data is used only to perform the action you requested — finding, compressing, and converting images — and only for as long as that takes. Image data lives in your browser’s memory during processing and is released afterward. Pluckr does not build profiles, track usage, or use your content for any other purpose.
Pluckr’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the
Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use
requirements. We only access the minimum scope needed
(documents.readonly), use it only to provide the
image-extraction feature you invoke, and never transfer or sell that data.
You can disconnect Google access at any time from inside the extension (the “Disconnect” control), or by visiting your Google Account permissions and removing Pluckr.
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Material changes will be reflected in the extension listing.
