By installing or using the Pluckr Chrome extension (the “Extension”) or this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.
Pluckr finds the images in a Google Doc you have open, then compresses and converts them to AVIF or WebP entirely within your browser, and lets you download the results. The Extension does not include a backend service; all processing happens on your device.
The optional “originals” feature uses Google sign-in with read-only Google Docs
access (the documents.readonly scope) to fetch full-resolution
images. Your use of Google services through Pluckr is also governed by Google's
own terms. How Pluckr handles data is described in our
Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these
Terms by reference.
The Extension is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that conversions will succeed for every image format or document.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Pluckr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Extension. Because Pluckr processes images locally and downloads them to your device, you are responsible for backing up and verifying your own files.
Pluckr is currently provided free of charge. We may update, change, or discontinue the Extension, or revise these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, in the extension listing.
You may stop using Pluckr at any time by removing the Extension from your browser. We may suspend or discontinue the Extension at our discretion.
